Clarksville Real Estate Education School "CREES" was approved by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission in August 2002 to offer courses for individuals interested in the real estate field. We offer pre-licensing courses and continuing education courses for current licensees. We meet all of the necessary requirements to properly prepare you for the State Licensing Exam.

REAL ESTATE LICENSING INFO & REQUIREMENTS
For detailed information on becoming an affiliate broker in Tennessee, log on to the Tennessee Real Estate Commission's official TREC website  . This website provides valuable information and resource links regarding licensing information including: Frequently Asked Questions about real estate, the Official Manual of TREC which includes the rules and regulations, and the complete Examination Information Booklet from PSI.

Successfully completing the 60 Hour Pre-License Course will prepare you to take and pass the license exam in Nashville.
Pass the license exam with at least a 70%. The exam is administered by PSI Examination Services and is computer based. It is divided into two sections: 80 questions on general real estate principles and fundamentals and 40 questions based on Tennessee specific real estate questions. You will know the day of the test if you passed. If you fail one part, you must retake that one part. Scores from PSI are valid for 6 months. The cost for taking the exam is $55.
You must complete a 30 hour Course for New Affiliates before you can apply for your license. CREES offers this class by correspondence.
You must be at least 18 years old and show proof of high school graduation, with either a copy a high school transcript or diploma, GED certificate or college transcript. (See TREC website for complete requirements regarding licensure.)
